Why did you join
the Red Cross?
I joined to be part of a team which has the welfare,
safety and social interest of vulnerable persons
at heart. The Society has enabled me to gain
not only lifesaving skills but to learn about and
become an active player in the work of this humanitarian
organization.
What is your best Red Cross experience?
The personal satisfaction of providing humanitarian
service that makes a difference to vulnerable persons.
Putting into practice skills learnt when I participated
in a national simulation exercise based on a volcanic
eruption.
What are your hopes for the future of Red
Cross?
The future of the Red Cross Society
depends to a large extent on keeping the spirit of
volunteerism alive and improving services through increased
capacity building.
