The Caribbean Red Cross Communications Network (ComNet) core group held its third meeting for the year via skype on October 17, 2007.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the feedback received from the Caribbean Co-operation of the Red Cross (CCORC) regarding ComNet’s Terms of Reference (TOR). The CCORC’s recommendations, which were accepted by the core group, will be incorporated into the TOR and subsequently sent out to National Societies and Overseas Branches (NS/OSB) for their ratification.

A web forum will soon be established for ComNet and after its launch, communication officers from Caribbean NS/OSB will be encouraged to log on and participate in the forum which will meet twice a year.
