Grenada Red Cross President meets Queen of Spain December 1, 2007 |

President of Grenada Red Cross Society, Pastor Christopher Williams OBE, had the pleasure of meeting Her Majesty Queen Sophia of Spain during his visit to Madrid, Spain for the 9th Meeting of Presidents of the Americas. The meeting was held 14th to 18th November – hosted by the Spanish Red Cross. It was the second time for the president meeting the Queen – the first being on May 8th 2005 when GRCS received a gold medal for volunteerism following the Hurricane Ivan Operation 2004 to 2005.
