Grenada Red Cross celebrates World Volunteers Day 2007 December 7, 2007 |

GRCS closed its doors on December 5 to normal operations but left them wide open to its volunteers with an open invitation to stop by during the day for relaxation, learning and mere fun. December 5 is World Volunteers Day. Local youth groups visited – were treated to a little first aid, some simple youth reminders, a tour of the facilities and then played games, shared their talents while treated to some snacks prepared by the volunteers themselves! Director General of GRCS, Mr. Terry Charles greeted the groups and close to 100 persons stopped by for the day.
