Curaçao Red Cross hold refresher for TWC Instructor Trainers

The Curaçao Red Cross, overseas branch of the Netherlands Red Cross, held a refresher course for its 11 Instructors Trainers (IT) of its Together We Can (TWC) program.

The refresher was held January 12 – 14. Its three National Trainers Ethline, Gianetta and Fisenthly, conducted an excellent workshop under the supervision of Kerwin from Trinidad & Tobago Red Cross and Delando from St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross.

The IT's worked hard, sometimes late into the night to ensure they were re-certified. On the Saturday evening, the group took a break and had a party to celebrate Fisenthly’s birthday.

The next training will be at the beginning of March for Peer Educators (PE); 20 PE's will be chosen to work with their peers.

The Curaçao TWC program is made possible with funding from the Netherlands Government through USONA. TWC is a peer education programme operated by the Red Cross across the region.
