St Lucia Red Cross Society received two awards for its contribution and support of youth development activities on the island.

The St Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority recognised the Society's Youth Department for its support and participation in the Authority's annual anti-litter campaign.

The second award was received from the Centre for Adolescent Rehabilitation and Education, in appreciation of the National Society's support of the centre's job placement programme. The programme is now into its 11 th year.
