One of the major activities of the International Federation is to support its members in Capacity Building. Part of this includes the development of better structures to recruit and support volunteers in meeting the needs of vulnerable people.
Volunteers are the most important strength of any National Society; they are "the power of humanity" and the champions of Red Cross Red Crescent humanitarian values.
