Curacao Red Cross will place a newspaper ad on May 8 announcing the importance of the day, as well as explain the history of the Red Cross movement and the Curacao Red Cross. An interview with the president will also appear in a Saturday edition of the newspaper.

May 18 will see the start of 75th anniversary activities. Car stickers will be on sale. On May 26 there will be a reception for current and former volunteers, and medals will be presented by the director of the Netherlands Red Cross. On May 27 there will be a gala fundraising event.

A local bank has assisted outreach by allowing a flyer promoting the work of the Curacao Red Cross to be included with bank statements being sent out to customers. The flyer encourages customers to give financial support.
