The Saba Chapter of the Netherlands Red Cross is planning a walk-a-ton for World First Aid Day 2004.

Saba is five square mile island and they can all walk from one end to the other to show their support on World First Aid day. They have invited school kids, police officers, fire men and the general public to participate.

At the end of the walk they have a guest speaker, Commander Joseph Charles from the SXM division. They will be informing the public that the Red Cross is starting their junior First Aiders group and issue invitations to persons who are interested to participate and to give back to their community.

Saba will also be recognizing two of its members who have gone on and beyond their call of duty, in their Chapter and in their community - Mrs. Bernadette ( Nancy ) Johnson, and Mr. Eric Cornet.
